What issue do you have?

I use Joplin Cloud to sync my notes. When I set up Joplin on a new device and sync, it downloads thousands of old notes that I thought were deleted then removes them again. This makes syncing slow and confusing.

From what I understand, even after deleting notes, the sync system keeps “tombstone” records, markers that show those notes were deleted, which stay in the cloud and cause old data to be downloaded again during sync.

I would like to completely clear all data stored in my Joplin Cloud account including these tombstone records so I can start fresh with only the notes I currently have saved locally.

Could you please let me know how to safely reset or wipe my Joplin Cloud data and upload only my current notes?

Thank you very much

Any suggestion?

Hi,

Check this out. Got it from the developer for when I wanted to do the same.

MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP FIRST!

This will let you start over.
