Vim cursor disappears when toggling editor layout

What issue do you have?

I frequently switch back and forth from editing mode to markdown mode, like every other sentence.

In 2.13.2, when I switch the vim cursor is lost, and I have to click on the window to make the cursor appear again. In 2.12.19 it works as expected.

Downgrading my profile to 2.12.19 seems like a giant pain.
