What issue do you have?

Unable to sync.
Joplin reports "invalid master password" when attempting to re-sync after operating system re-install.

I store the key in a password manager, so I'm not sure how this can be an issue.

My Android phone is still able to sync; is there anyway I can compare the master password it is using?

I suggest you create a new profile on your linux desktop, and sync it to your joplin cloud account from scratch.
