There are two Tab characters between the three characters in the first line.

The third line is basically the same as the first line, the only difference is that there is a Tab characters at the beginning of the third line.

problem:

  1. In the browse view, the tab character is not displayed between the three characters in the first line, but the tab character is displayed in the third line. What is the reason?

  2. In the browse view, the first line has a bold effect, and the third line has no bold effect. What is the reason?

When you start a line with a tab characters or 4 spaces, you create an unformatted text block, so that's where the difference comes from. Same on Discourse for example:

 There's a tab before this line. So **this text** is unformatted.
