I created an account to test it. It's absolutely brilliant. If I could have this with Zotero... which I continue to use because it retrieves PDFs and metadata much better in my field of research (history and social sciences).
Thanks

I also try to move all my files to Zotero recently. You can expect it work with Zotero in the future release
Oh !!! Waouh !!!!
Hi,
I just tried the latest version on my linux machine (Fedora) and I have a problem with the relative links.
Does the red output appear? I also get the searchString.trim
warning, but it does not break the plugin
v0.5.1 is published.

Hi @SeptemberHX
This is great news. But I'm not sure I understand how it works
Thanks !
Great idea !
Tools -> ReadCube Papers -> create note for papers
to create a note that is connected to one of your paper If a select Zotero, i donβt this option in the menu anymore...
I have the same problem. There is no option under Tools.
Is there any error message in red color in the dev tools ?
I checked the code, and I think the buttons are missing only when the Zotero API Key is empty.
Also try: cmd/win + p
and input :create notes for papers
to check whether there exists a command.
And do you have the 'cite' button on your editor toolbar?
Please check the previous reply.
Id and API-key are set. What permissions do we have to set in Zotero? Maybe I am to restrictive?
The cite button disapeared when I disabled the bibtex-plugin. And this is what I get when trying the :create notes for papers
I think I know the reason. What item types do you have in the top folder of your library? I overlooked many other item types, and they caused the bug I guess.
For the showing TypeError: e.data.creators
, it should be fixed in the attached plugin file. But I guess there will be other bugs if your item types are more than journal articles.
Please report the error messages if you meet bugs again

Hi,
Sorry I was overwhelmed and not too reactive these last days.
On my side, I don't have the icon in the taskbar nor the command in the palette.
I have the following error messages.
I can sync now and create notes for papers, thank you!
I have tried it with journal articles, conference papers and book chapters. Only for journal articles the publication venue is displayed.
Can confirm that it only works for some item types. Books sections do work for me, however. Preprints and Conference Papers do not work (out of the ones I've tried so far).
Still many thanks for implementing this feature. This is huge for me.
Do the book chapters have metadata like doi? Or they are user uploaded pdfs without any publication information?

Where the preprints come from? arxiv or others? Could you share the doi so I can test with it?
