What issue do you have?

Hi,
I've imported a lot of EverNote notes in Joplin, and all text and labels seems great, but when I click on the Edit button, I see that the whole note is in HTML format.
And all the notes has been imported like this.

Is there any way to strip the HTML tag during the import (or to do it on the Joplin notes) ?
otherwise, I will never able to use my notes

The issue is the same on the Android app or desktop application.

Could you provide a screenshot of it? Normally the Rich Text Editor should allow you to edit the notes.

We also plan to add a button to convert a note back to Markdown to make it more easily editable, but it's not done yet

If you import the ENEX file as Markdown it should convert the notes to Markdown format. Being that Markdown is simpler than HTML they may no longer retain some of the more complex formatting you can use with Evernote / HTML notes.

Here is a screenshot :

It's a bit of a shame, the first was import was perfect for readonly display... I can try the other import type, but I hope the notes will stay nice and readable

Thank you

Sorry for the duplicate topic, I just saw the same below. :flushed:

I made the import with Markdown, and it's works fine now.
Thanks a lot
