One button per layout option

Rather than a button to cycle through the enabled layouts, would it be possible to have one button per layout? That would make it easier to switch (immediately) to the desired layout.

Aside: I love Joplin; I use it every day. Thank you for it.

This doesn't solve your issue exactly, but a few things to note in case you hadn't come across:

  1. You can switch what the layout button toggles through in View > Layout Button Sequence. This is helpful if you never use one of the views
  2. You can use Command-L (might be different on your machine, and you can remap) to quickly toggle between without a button
  3. There's a plugin that lets you choose which layout on a per note basis. Useful if you find yourself switching based on the note. Persist Editor Layout Plugin
