What issue do you have?

Hi, MD is my favorite editor. sometimes i worked on notes inadvertent in RT-editor. after that the URL to my attached files has changed:

this is a screenshot, inserted with STRG+V; MD-Editor (relative path to joplinprofile)

new textline added with RT-Editor (absolute path)

hello world (new line)

can i stop this? fatal for my portable version. or is there a tool to correct the URL?

best regards

Thank you for reporting this!

So far, I haven't been able to reproduce this. I'm testing by:

  1. Pasting a screenshot from the clipboard into the Markdown editor.
    • A line in the form ![](:/ae4f49dc6ad64740bd4785850b4f6540) is added.
  2. Switching to the Rich Text Editor.
  3. Making a change to the note.
  4. Switching back to the Markdown editor and verifying that the screenshot still has URL :/ae4f49dc6ad64740bd4785850b4f6540.

I'm running Joplin Portable on Windows 11 from a folder shared with the Windows 11 VM (Z:/). Are there any plugins installed? (See Help > About Joplin for a list).

Yes, i have.

Hi!

I did a fresh joplin portabe (new directory) and copied the marked files/directories:

changed between md and rt-editor

URL not changed! no idea where the error could be.

I'm thinking about making a copy this way?
