What issue do you have?

Great app! Testing it after MS Onenote that I am exiting now for my personal usage
iPhone's iOS app does not fully sync and exit ungracefully after a minute approximately. I tried many times, reinstalling the app, nothing corrects the issue
I had the same issue on the iPad, but no more since a week or two (I think it is after I updated to the last Joplin server). Sync works great from 3 other Macs
iOS logs are very poor (a few lines) I don't see error messages in there
Any idea/help welcome!

Would you mind sharing a low level bug report as described here?

It would include information related to the crash you're having

Hi Laurent I would love to, but there is no crash info for Joplin in there

Hi,

There seems to be a bug in the log screen[1] on iOS, sometimes I only see a few lines when there should be many more.

If only a few lines show up in the log screen, please try

  1. Leaving the log screen open for about 5-10 seconds
  2. Clicking "refresh"
  3. Clicking "errors only"

Additionally, clicking "share" in the actions menu should show more complete logs (I suspect that the bug is related to the FlatList we're using to display logs).

Sorry guys, there’s nothing in iOS logs, and I can’t refresh it (enterprise controlled iPhone: functionality limited?)
But what you described Henry corresponds more to getting the logs from Joplin. So here there are. Interestingly, they are far more complete when using the share functionnality than what I see in the log console in the screen). When filtering on errors, it gives nothing

Also, the release notes of the Joplin iOS app shows newer versions than the one I can install from the App store. Anyway to get those earlier (through the beta program?)

Hi there,
I deleted most attachments, and all big ones
Then removed Joplin from my iPhone
Rebooted the phone
Reinstalled Joplin on my iPhone
Sync works well now, so I suspect the size of the attachment, or some form of corruption of the iPhone’s local cache was happening
Thanks for this software - continuing now the migration from Onenote (several hundreds notes already, and counting)
