Sycronization to iOS Joplin Hangs

What issue do you have?

Is anybody ever gonna fix this? Ever? The app is completely useless on iOS. Sync begins, gets to 10/50, then just halts and the whole app hangs. Have to kill it. Opening the app again and it happens again.

I've seen people say to disable the screen sleeping and let it finish. It never does. I have uninstalled and reinstalled.

Clearly this is a bug. Been like this for months.

Any hope of fixing this? Or should I just drop it and go find a different app?

Hello there! thanks for the report, that clearly shouldn't be happening. Could you provide a bit more detail about your particular setup?

  • device
  • ios version
  • nextcloud provider (private or public, free/paid)
  • could you access any logs while you're in the app: configuration -- tools -- log -- share
