Guide to FS Sync on Android

Hi all

I just came across Joplin in search of an evernote replacement. Despite the fact there's no ocr (even for my ocr'd PDFs), I'd like to give it a try.

I have set up Joplin on Windows, Syncs to filesystem, that part works fine. Files are synced to my Android phone using Synology's own sync thing, which works flawlessly for all my other needs. On Android, the path is /storage/emulated/0/Joplin. Guess what: EOENT, open failed, ...

Funny enough, syncing from my Android to Windows works fine, but the notes I create on Windows never appear on Android.

Is there any good guide around for this kind of setup? I want to avoid Dropbox.
