There is a plug-in, unfortunately plugins don’t work in the app, as far as I know.

Notebook, Note, To-do, Tag, Search Favorites Plugin

Based on the Note Tabs plugin, I've created another panel view based plugin. It allows you to save any notebook, note, to-do, tag, or search as favorite in an extra panel view for quick access. You can install it via the Joplin plugin system (see here for details). I hope it will help you to improve your daily work with Joplin.
