Can't sync with OneDrive but could with Dropbox

Using Joplin and Dropbox, with end-to-end encryption set up, I've been able to sync Joplin data between a laptop with Joplin 1.6.1 and Windows 10 20H2 Build 19042.685, and my Android 10 phone (Moto build w/ security patch level 10/1/20) with Joplin 1.5.1. It has worked perfectly.

However, Dropbox has shown incompatibilities with two other apps on my laptop that I know of so far. So, I wanted to try using OneDrive instead. I set up OneDrive on both Windows and Android and got all the way to the point where I could run the sync from both devices. But the problem is that even though the sync processes appear to run without error, the lists between the devices don't actually sync up. Are there any special aspects of setting this up I could have missed?

I just realized I wasn't debugging while running through this scenario on Windows. If I try this again later, I'll do that. But on Android, I checked the log and there were no reported errors from the time.
