Will I encounter any problems if I use the copy-and-paste method directly with Joplin Portable?

What issue do you have?

I installed Joplin Portable in the folder D:\Joplin_Portable on my office PC. Now, I would like to install Joplin Portable on my home PC.

Can I simply copy the D:\Joplin_Portable folder from my office PC and paste it into the E:\Tool\Joplin_Portable folder on my home PC? Will all my settings and data remain intact?

A: Will I encounter any problems in the future if I use the copy-and-paste method directly?

B: I noticed that the encryption key IDs in Joplin are the same on both the office and home PCs. Could this cause any issues later on?

That should work fine. As always make a backup first to be sure but I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work
