WebDAV not work with last release of Android

Heya! I have this same issue, sync is not working with WebDAV. My phone is Samsung Node 9. Android 10.

I’m using a VPN to connect to my LAN and so the WebDAV URL is http://192.168.0.23:8080/seafdav/Joplin. I don’t see anything of relevance in the logs though. The same stuff works on desktop Windows.

Android version is 1.0.316.

What can I do?

Cheers!

Same issue here works fine on my PC’s using http://<dns_address>:5005/homes//joplin but fails on all my android devices (tablets/phones).

Logs look pretty much identical to the above posts by CYBERNEURONES

Any thoughts as to when this will be resolved? it appears to have been an issue since last June last year.

there are 2 issues here:

  • using http on mobile
  • using port numbers in the sync URL

Both came up in the past and are a result of either a module we use or the underlying OS components. If you have any idea how to fix them, please let us know.

me too. Orz
Problems and solutions should be here:

Maybe the same reason:

“android-v1.0.319-rc1” has been released. Let’s test it. The problem should have been solved.

I am unable to sync (“Network request failed” msg) with Nextcloud and Joplin Android app.

My Joplin-v1.0.336 Android app was working well for months to sync with Nextcloud. But after I uninstall it and installed joplin-v1.0.337, the “Network request failed” message started and cannot be resolved.

It seems that the problem came back somewhere between android-v1.0.319-rc1 and Joplin 1.4.11...
