Version 1.7 is now available as pre-release, with support for plugin updating (Updated 26/01/21)

Well, Joplin is already at the root of the drive.
The only difference I see with my other drives is the system files : the J: drive is exFat, not NTFS.

(MacOS Catalina, Joplin 1.7.10) The plugin search box is unclickable. I can't type in anything in the search box. Does anyone else have the same issue?

It works for me. Note that the search box will not be enabled if you don't have an internet connection or if the call to fetch the plugin manifests is somehow blocked.
