What issue do you have?

Sorry I need help, for some reason the last two updates, I have not been able to update as it keeps saying that it cannot close Joplin even if I have closed it previously. Then says failed to uninstall older version.

I'm experiencing a similar issue.

A workaround is to close Joplin manually. On Windows, this can be done by right-clicking on the "Joplin" icon in the taskbar and clicking "Quit".

I'm attaching a screen recording that shows:

  1. Opening the Joplin installer.
  2. Encountering the "Joplin cannot be closed" warning.
  3. Closing Joplin manually with right-click > quit from the system tray:
