I have the feeling the size of UI panels is bizarre wrt to the window size. For instance, I have a tiling window manager, and when I resize the notebook/note panel (they’re vertically stacked) and open another window (joplin goes from fullscreen to half screen width), the notebook/note panel width is not the original one nor a ratio of the current window width.
In the images below, I have changed the panel width such that it fits good when 2 windows are open. This is the first image. The second image shows the panel width when fullscreen, and the third when three windows are open.
I think each panel size should be stored as a window size ratio so that their size is coherent with window size.
