Sync Setup on Windows 11 Not Working

  1. Click Options
  2. Click Synchronization
  3. Click Open Sync Wizard
  4. Select One Drive

Instead of the usual setup screen, all I get is a white screen.

Various mitigation attempts all fail.

Works fine on Mac/Ubuntu/Android/iPhone from same network.

What version of joplin are you on?
Should probably provide logs too.

I'm running the very latest stable Joplin.

Here's the thing though ... after a week of messing with this, I finally posted to the forum, then an hour later everything is working fine.

For anyone with the same issue, here's what 'fixed' it for me: waiting. As in a long time. I went to the Sync setup screen for OneDrive, looked at the big white nothing there, then let the computer sit for half an hour on that screen. Then, suddenly, mysteriously, the white screen populated with the usual OneDrive sync setup link. Which worked fine.

Not sure why it's waiting so long now on the setup screen, it never did this before on Windows (or any other platform I've used).

Notably, I also use Joplin Cloud sync on one system, and it is working without issue as well. So, this seems isolated to Windows 11 and OneDrive.
