The orange "Some items cannot be synchronised. Press for more info." banner appears at the top of the App. Pressing on it leads to a blank screen. All conflicting items have been resolved. It seems that I am stuck with this pointless banner forever.
This has been going on for more than a week. I gave it time hoping that it would resolve. It would be really annoying to have to do a complete deletion and reload. For that matter, I'm not sure what steps to take to do a complete reset.
It's frustrating that there is a message, but no clue what items it is having trouble with.

Edit: The synchronise message in the lower left hand corner reports no errors. It's only the orange banner that claims something can't be synchronised.
Shouldn't there be some concern about fixing an obvious bug?
Somewhere in the system there is a bit flag that has been triggered that says there is a synch error. And there's no way to fix it except to completely uninstall the app?
Possible issue: I've just observed that while this screen loads quickly on web, on iOS, it gets stuck for several seconds after loading the "Note" count in the "Sync status" section.
Unfortunately I deleted the app and re-installed. Good thing I had less than 2000 items. As it was, it took about an hour. Also, you have to keep telling it to synch or it will "finish" when there are still items left to be synched. So it's not a "hands-off" hour.
Usually if there are synch problems it shows up down near the settings button. Those items were dealt with and there was no obvious further problems. But the banner appeared and clicking on the banner lead to a blank screen. Had I known I could refresh the screen I would certainly have tried that. Some similar posts said that it went away after awhile, so I waited a week before reporting.
