What issue do you have?

The app takes about 9 seconds to start. I have appr. 300 notes. I wonder what is slowing it down

Has Joplin always started slowly for you, or is this something recent? What type of storage have you got? Joplin itself is an Electron app, which means that it is on the heavier side and will never be blazing fast like a native program.

Also, what about plugins? The more you have installed, the heavier the application will become.
