Running Joplin 2.7.15 (prod, darwin) on 11.6.5 Big Sur
I see that when I run joplin by clicking the icon from my OSX dock -the application starts but the GUI does not appear.
The work around is to click the joplin icon in the OSX menu bar and the Joplin GUI appears immediately. Is there something I need to set on my side?

I don't really know if this option is available on mac, but is the option "Start application minimised in the tray icon" under "Options -> Application" activated?
MrKanister - thanks. unchecking that option makes the UI appear at runtime.
