Reinstalled OS but now can't sync

Tried setting up Joplin on a reinstall and now when i sync to dropbox i get this error. I am running the latest version on both android and Arch.

Last error: Error: Sync version of the target (2) does not match sync version supported by client (1). Please upgrade your client.

Sync still works on my android running version 1.0.337.

OS: Arch Linux
Joplin Version: 1.0.233

It looks like you have installed the pre-release version on Android

Since this release had a sync target upgrade, you'll either need to use the pre-release on desktop (the update script supports a --pre-release flag) or nuke the sync target and restart from the latest stable version.
