It seems that after a recent Android update, the raw mark code has gone missing. I don't like using rich markdown, especially on the mobile - feels control-less! Is there a way to get raw md back while editing? Even a plugin that does it would do.
Thanks,
Thanks for your reply.
Tried that but it's not working. Can't see the md code (ie, #, -, $$, etc) at all.
Did you switch to the rich text editor? Try clicking the hamburger menu on the top right and select "Edit as Markdown"
Thanks for your reply. I can’t see the “Edit as Markdown” option anywhere in the Configuration menu. E.g., when I edit a math equation, it comes up with a box with an edit button on the bottom right. On clicking that, it opens up a pop-up box wherein I can see $$, etc and can edit. Earlier, in edit mode, I could see all the md codes, eg #, ##, $$, etc. I don’t want rich text, I’d prefer the raw MD code, and later view the rendered product, which is simultaneously possible in the Desktop app.
I am running Joplin Mobile 3.4.7 (prod, android) version.
Thanks, found this. That’s what I wanted and was my default, but I don’t know how it got changed to Rich Text.
Thanks all for your help.
