When switching between editing and viewing modes on mobile app it would be good to synchronize them, i.e., open a note at the same place where the cursor is.
A recent PR fixes this issue for the Rich Text Editor on mobile on Joplin 3.5. It is not fixed for the Markdown editor though, so I guess that is a harder fix. Thanks mrjo118. I would be happy to use the Rich Text Editor, but on my Android tablet the text font is so small that it makes it useless, and I could not find the way to change it. Changing the editor font in the setting affects only the Markdown editor.
That’s odd, changing the editor font works with both editors for me on Android. I’m on the prerelease of Joplin 3.5 currently, so maybe that is fixed too if there is an issue
I’ve installed the prelease version 3.5.6 and yes, it allows to change the font size for the Rich Text Editor. But now I bumped into another problem. There seems to be no way to highlight text there. The is no highlight button, using ==text== does not work, and I could not find any plugin that can do it. I would appreciate any advice.
In configuration, markdown, make sure the enable ==mark== syntax option is enabled
Oh I see what you mean. Unfortunately on mobile you will have to switch to the markdown editor to use highlight, as there is no highlight button available on mobile in the rich text editor
