Prevent "New Notebook" action from switching focus to the new notebook

I imported a few thousand notes into an "imported notes" folder and am organizing them by creating new folders and moving the notes into them.

  1. I search for notes that meet criteria I'm looking for.
  2. I check if a notebook for the note's category already exists.
  3. if not, in the navigate /notebook sidebar , I right-click and select "new notebook"
  4. I create the notebook.
  5. Focus changes to the new, empty notebook.
  6. I have to find the notes again, for example via a search, before I can move them into the appropriate folder.

I checked the application settings to see if I can prevent the behavior of focus switching to a new folder, but I didn't see one. I also examined available plugins for a solution.

If there isn't a setting to , I can create a feature request for it.

The issue is when I create the folder for 1 or more notes that are currently on my screen, Joplin switchs
