[BUG] Moving a note to another notebook is rolled back again if moved note is subsequently edited

  • Joplin Desktop Version: 1.3.18
  • Operating System: Windows 10

If I move a newly created (and still open) note to another notebook and continue editing it that note will be moved back to its original notebook.

Concrete steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a new note.
  2. Move it to another notebook using drag & drop or context menu.
  3. Edit the note at its new location by typing in some characters.
  4. The note will be moved back after some short delay.

As a workaround I need to Quit Joplin before I edit it at its new location.

I can reproduce this behavior on each Windows 10 machine I am running Joplin on.

1.3.18 also, but on Windows 7 / 64, I tried but can't reproduce the behaviour.

What editor?

I am using the default editor (not the WYSIWYG one).

I cannot replicate this on latest dev version. If it still happens when v1.4 is released, please let me know.

I have had this problem before in the markdown editor, but when I wanted to create a detailed bugreport, I could not reproduce it.
