I've attached a pdf and I would like to refer to the pdf in the rich text editor as I write my notes in the markdown editor, however whenever I type in anything in the markdown editor, the pdf refreshes and goes back to the first page. Is there a way to stop it from refreshing so I can continue to scroll the pdf without it refreshing and write in notes? A way to stop the markdown editor from refreshing entirely for a while also works too. Thanks
@MCoolguy, that sounds unsettling! I haven't tried this, but might it work if you opened a second window and position it beside the note in Joplin, would the PDF visible in the second window keep refreshing? Maybe worth a try?
It still refreshes unfortunately, I would also prefer if I didn’t have to open a new window too as right now I am viewing my PDF in an external pdf viewer and pinning it next to Joplin as a temporary solution, it’d be great if I could just view it through Joplin. Thanks for the suggestion though!
Glad you have a work around, even though tedious. I don't normally use split view, but briefly changed to it and can confirm that I see the same behaviour as you're experiencing—the PDF view refreshing in the webview on ever keystroke in the editor
