Not able to find the shortcut in Kubuntu 18.04

App was visible in the application menu before but somehow not able to find it in search menu now. When I try to install using following command again, I get message that the app is already installed but can’t find it in application menu

Joplin places a desktop file in the directory ~/.local/share/applications with the filename appimagekit-joplin.desktop.

Please check if this file exists, if it does than this issue is likely with your DE. In that case I would recommend logging out and back in (or restarting the system).
