It wasn’t a show stopper, so I forgot to post about it, but it took hours, because I use joplin a lot!
My .jex file is a bit over 400MB.
I sync to my own webdav on a vps running debian. Maybe it’s a quirk on my end, but it never happened before, so I’m just mentioning.
Thanks very much for a wonderful program.
Is your webdav server accessible from the internet or only on your local network?
Also, did this happen in the last couple of days (since the new version of Joplin was released), or it happened earlier than that?

It happened on the next sync after it became 2026 - I neglected to post about it until now. Probably the the first or second of January.
My webdav server is in a VPS in a DC in Germany, not on my LAN.
My phone’s version of Joplin is from fdroid. One phone is /e/os and the other is android, but never logged into google.
This is not a big deal - I’m certainly not complaining. It was just weird. One phone got really hot after like 4+ hours of syncing! 
I was like “WTF are they doing‽‽” The year change was my only guess.
Ok, no idea what hapoened then
