What issue do you have?

I signed up with a Joplin account yesterday and was able to successfully import a few Evernote notebooks. But if I try to Sync with the Joplin cloud, I get "Invalid email or password." I successfully logged into this forum with my username "linuxguy1454" and corresponding password, but I cannot login or sync using my email address. If I entered a password corresponding to my email address mjplimley@zoho.com, when I registered, I don't have it.
If I click on "Forgot password" and enter my email address, I never get the email. There is nothing in my Inbox or Spam folder. I tried several times.
I like the app since it mimics Evernote, which I am used to. I hope to make this my primary notes app.
What do I need to do to recover my email password?

@linuxguy1454 welcome to the forum.

Apologies if I have misunderstood your message but have you actually purchased a Joplin Cloud Plan?

Not yet. I wanted to do more testing first. If I need to do that to get support for this, I will go ahead and start with a one month payment and go from there.

Joplin Cloud is a paid sync service provided by Joplin but it is not the only way to sync Joplin clients. If you want to test Joplin you could always use a free service. The options are as in the picture below.

sync_services

If it's Joplin Cloud you want to test, when signing up you get the first 14 days free, so you can cancel if it is not what you want.

There's also Joplin Server which is a free version of the Joplin Cloud software that you can host yourself for non-commercial purposes.

Thank you very much for your answers. I will check it out further.
