Master key is not loaded (Android)

  1. On Windows 10 Pro version 21H1 with Joplin 2.4.9 and AWS S3 synchronization, I created my notes and encrypted them with a master key and password.
  2. I connected to my S3 bucket and verified that my notes were uploaded.
  3. I installed Joplin 2.4.9 on my Android 11 Oxygen OS 11.0.10.10.KB05AA device and configured the S3 sync settings.
  4. When I tap on Synchronize from my Android device, I get "Could not encrypt item XXX Master key is not loaded: YYY" error. I can see the master key under encryption config on both devices. Joplin on Android did not prompt me to enter the key password.

How can I fix this issue?

Could you post a screenshot of the encryption config screen on Android?

The problem just got fixed without me doing anything. Joplin on Android did not ask me the master password, how did it manage to decrypt the notes?

Did you ever entered the password previously?
