Hello, thats my first entry so bare with me:)
I just made the Update Joplin app asked me to do. Since I did it Joplin won't open anymore. I have all the notes from university in it and am prtty doomed now. It's probably stupid of me to not have backed that up or anything, but I also have never exerianced such an issue with any app. Can somone help me?

That can happen if the app is looking for the data in the wrong location. Did you install it differently this time, for example for all users instead of for the current user, or previously using the portable app?

You data should in your user folder in .config/joplin-desktop. There should also be a backup of your notes in JoplinBackup in your user folder
