I cannot find the backup (jex) file on my android phone.
What did I do:
Joplin configuration > Import and Export > Export all notes as JEX
Message: Exported successfully!
Then I looked into
/net.cozic.joplin/cache => no file to show
and in
/net.cozic.joplin/files => no file to show
Searching in Android using term >jex< (without ><) did not reveal a file.
Joplin gives me the message that the backup
I appreciate getting the path or any additional help to find the jex-file which contains the backup of my Joplin files
It's probably a temporary file in a temporary directory. I've never done this on my phone as my desktop is where I do my backups.
On my android, after I Export all notes as JEX I'm prompted with a share dialog that and jex-export.jex to be shared with whatever app/person/object I happen to choose.
Do you not get that Sharing 1 file dialog after your phone makes your JEX file?
I think that's it. You have to share the file with an application. Could be your Google Drive app and then you can store it in the cloud. Or your email app and mail it to yourself or family member.
Thanks for your screen shot. Now I got the share possibility.
In my case, I may not touch any other part of the screen to not stop the share pop-up. I saw it only accidentally the first time as a flash and remembered your screen shot.
Next time I kept my finger on the screen until the share pop-up was to be seen.
