What issue do you have?

When I open a link in a note it opens a new Firefox window, not a new tab which is a pain
I am not sure if this is a Joplin or Firefox controlled thing, but thought I would ask if I can change this
Thanks

Hi,

I think you need to adjust your Firefox settings. See picture.

Thanks!

Strangely, when I looked at that setting in FF it was already selected, so I selected the other 2 options in that section as well and it worked, but then when I deselected the other 2 again, it still worked :man_shrugging:
That was booted into Windows 11

Then I rebooted into Linux and checked the setting and only that 1st option of the three was selected, but this time I did nothing, and it worked :man_shrugging:

The only thing I did notice in Win11 was that FF wasn’t selected as my default browser (Sneaky M$ updates no doubt) and so perhaps those new browser windows that were popping up like weeds on my lawn were not FF :man_shrugging: . But that doesn’t explain why I was having the same problem in Linux before, I think, :man_shrugging: :old_man:

So, in summary, :man_shrugging: , but you taught me something new and it solved my problem, so thank you very much Sir (Leo)!
