What issue do you have?

Hello Joplinauts,

I use a number of templates in my workflow and have already defined the defaults for notes and to-dos so that I can trigger them using keyboard shortcuts. I would like to bind other shortcuts to some of my other templates.

So far I wasn't able to spot a setting to do so. Is this possible and how do I configure them?

Templates is a plugin so it would be up to the author of the plugin to make the modifications to support shortcuts. Since the focus these days seems to be on making this plugin work on mobiles without a keyboard at all, shortcuts might not be possible. How do you hit Alt-Shift-N on a mobile?

Does the Insert Template keyboard shortcut not work well enough for you?

As for workarounds, you can effectively bind keyboard shortcuts to non-default templates with the Hotstrings & Hotkeys plugin.

I use those shortcuts intensively but as I would like to bind some other Templates to keyboard shortcuts.
