What issue do you have?

Version 3.0 of the Templates plugin now brings up a menu (white) with scrollbars (white ones) and the keyboard is disabled. This makes the old method of using a shortcut to insert a template useless. I used to be able to just type "Ctrl-Alt-I Enter" and have the first template applied. Now I must leave the keyboard to locate the rodent and then point-and-click the "Select" button. From a tenth-of-a-second operation it has changed to a 3-day (messy desk) search to insert a template.

Uninstalled and reinstalled v. 2.40

Thanks for reporting @HarSel.
I can reproduce the keyboard / theme issue, and will work on a fix.
I cannot see scrollbars on my end, but I'll check.

Hi @HarSel, would you mind checking if this new version of the plugin fixes your issues?

keyboard now works and the dark mode is correct but hitting “Enter” merely expands the list of available templates so you can scroll down. The older version (v2.4) was implemented so that hitting Enter triggered the “Select” button. This version still requires you to go grab the mouse to “Select” the template.

I was able to make the OK button be the default in this version, for example while entering text in template fields. However, I'm struggling with dropdown boxes. What I found to work was to hit the Tab key once to move the focus to the "Select" button. No mouse grabbing needed. Hopefully this will work for you. Perhaps I'll be able to solve it at a later stage.

Note: I had to reimplement all dialogs for v3.0.0 in order to enable mobile device support, and these regressions originate from this.

I suppose I could get used to it. Not being much of a typist I watch the keyboard, not the screen, so muscle-memory after all these years of doing things one way is going to make an awful mess when I stop typing and look at what I’ve managed to enter. Or actually what I’ve managed to not enter. It’s easier to simply use the old version and not try to relearn how to do things. Thanks for looking into it though.
