Jumped from 1.7.11 to 2.3.5. What's changed?

Here's a quick funny story. I have been regularly running the update script for Joplin on Linux and thought I was running the latest version. Today I decided to double-check in Help->About and it turns out my app launcher has been pointing to an old AppImage 1.7.11!

What are the major changes since then?
I notice the editor is greatly improved - width restricted and space at the end. The notebooks sections seems a bit cleaner and maybe there is an overall speed improvement.

What new features have I been missing?
Thanks
