To report a bug, please let us know: had problems had to reload Linux Mint to 20 without proper backups ! something has knocked JoplinJex cannot backup - get error message : Could not export notes : EACCES permission denied , open 'home/me/-JoplinJex/09_12_2020.jex
How should i proceed please ?

I would start by checking that now you have reinstalled Linux Mint your current user has write access to home/me/-JoplinJex/. Also the path you have written starts home/me and unless it is just a typo in the post it should probably be /home/me/
