Joplin-vscode-plugin: No Notes Detected

Occasionally I need to reference one note while working on another. Since Joplin doesn't support this natively (e.g. tabs), I use VS Code.

But I discovered this morning that the Code plugin is no longer working. When I click the J in the left corner I get this:

No notes detected!
And in the lower right corner:
(intermediate value).filter is not a function

I've upgraded Joplin a coupleof times in the last few days - it was before that then I last used Code.

For what it's worth I've gone into Joplin's Web Clipper options and disabled/re-enabled the service. I confirmed I can connect to the service (nc 127.0.0.1 41184). I'm not sure what else to check...

I see that I'm using version 0.1.17 of the plugin, and that newer versions are available at https://github.com/rxliuli/joplin-vscode-plugin/releases.

However, all the Asian characters at https://github.com/rxliuli/joplin-vscode-plugin concern me. I don't recall anything there not being in English before.

Does anybody else use this? Is/are the newer version/s safe?

FWIW I uninstalled the plugin from Code, closed/reopened, then searched again, and v 0.1.17 still shows up there.

Manually installing the v0.2.1 resolved the problem I was posting about.
