What issue do you have?

I recently installed Joplin Server, and Joplin MacOS / iOS versions on my computer.

I imported all my Evernote notes, and import them into Joplin. It's a single notebook with a bunch of "children" under it. It was synchronized to the server, and my computer, iPad, and iPhone all have access to the notes.

I then created an account for my wife, she installed the OSX and iOS app. Synchronized with the server (after deleting the Welcome notebook), and all is well. When she creates new notes, she sees them on bot devices.

Then I shared my parent notebook with the Evernote imported notes in it with my wife.

When She accepted it, and synchronized her client, it is downloading and fetching thousands and thousands of items... however, at some point, the sync status also shows "Deleted local items.: XXX"

When her synchronization finishes, she ends up with just her own notes, not a single of the shared notes are there.

We run server 3.0.1

Regarding seeing deleted local item for many items, see Desktop,Mobile,Cli: Include types of synced items in the sync status message by personalizedrefrigerator · Pull Request #11488 · laurent22/joplin · GitHub

Regarding no access to the shared notebook, can you try creating a dummy notebook with just one note in it and see if it works to share that with your wife?
