Joplin Crashes System on Linux Mint 21.1

Joplin Version: 2.11.11
OS Version: Linux Mint 21.1

I switched operating systems from Ubuntu to Mint. I had been using Joplin without issues until I made the switch.

Joplin freezes and crashes my entire system when I open it. The mouse will move but all the windows frozen and non-responsive and I am forced to do a hardware shutdown to gain back control of my computer.

I am using an AppImage of Joplin.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or something is wrong with my system configuration.
