I have been unable to sync with Joplin Cloud for hours, despite me not being able to find anything online indicating it is down. Any advice / better source for monitoring the status of Joplin's back-end services?
Upon further investigation, I am able to sync with Joplin Cloud on other devices, but not on my work laptop. I remembered that, earlier today, Zscaler was installed. How can I confirm, from my end, that Zscaler is the issue? I don’t see any error when I click 'the ‘Synchronize’ button in Joplin, it simply doesn’t do anything. Like a button on a webpage with no actual logic / trigger behind it - you can press it, but nothing happens.
You can check for errors in the log file, but what you describe with the Synchronize button doing nothing is consistent with behaviour I’ve experienced when trying to connect to Joplin Cloud on a work laptop with similar software
Not doing anything could be a server that doesn't respond, and the request but timing out. I'm certain that Joplin Cloud is responding to requests so it could something in between
