What issue do you have?

I'd like to know if Joplin 3.0+ is supposed to work well with an older version of Joplin server (2.12.1 rather than the current 3.0.1) or if I should bugger our IT person to upgrade the server version. I have some strange things happening like no sync of new sub-notebook in shared notebooks, and "disconnect" between users on the same shared notebook (sync of changes in a shared notebook is OK for a given user between different machines, but not across users).

I'm sorry to be the one to bring this up, but you've mentioned an "IT person", so I'm assuming a company here, whereas Joplin Server is not allowed to be used in a commercial environment.

We are an academic lab at a public French University. I guess Joplin Server can be used in that setting.
