Joplin 2.4.12 stopped syncing

If you post a bug report here, we cannot track it and there's a chance it won't be looked at and fixed.

For other support queries please indicate:

  • The version you are using. LATEST VERSION is not a version number!
  • If it is a sync issue, please let us know what you are syncing with.
  • If you report a problem with upgrading, please let us know both versions (from/to).
  • If you report a problem with the editor, please tell us which editor you are using (WYSIWYG/Markdown).
  • The operating system you are using.

Since update sync stopped working:
It was working previously with "Ignore TLS certificate error" checked.

Error message:

Error. Please check that URL, username, password, etc. are correct and that the sync target is accessible. The reported error was:

PROPFIND : Unknown error 2 (503): Update in process. (Code 503)

What is your sync target?
For example this is the error you might get if Nextcloud itself is currently being updated so therefore will be unavailable to sync until it has finished. Nothing to do with Joplin itself (as in the desktop app) so if it is an ongoing issue you might want to talk to your hosting provider (if applicable).
