Is there a way to set default notebook for new notes?

I'm guessing there is a way to specify a default notebook for new notes, but I'm not seeing it. Please point me in the right direction, thanks.

Joplin 2.7.13 (prod, win32)

No such setting does not exist. The note will be created in the active notebook or in the last active notebook when you create a note in the All notes notebook.

Hello everyone,
I found this to get around the difficulty.
NB : The 'templates' extension must be installed.
Copy the ID of the target notebook.
Create a template with this header
--- template_notebook: [targeted notebook ID] ---
Set this template as default template.
Use the "Create a note based on the default template" command.
The note will go into the choosen notebook.
