If I choose the export profile option in the Android app:
Will this exported profile be unencrypted, and thus able to slip into any other insulation of Joplin - even if I technically have encryption turned on? Or will I still need the old password?
(If the latter, can I turn this off without having the password actually, before I export)
Data that's locally encrypted will still be encrypted, and data that's decrypted will stay decrypted.
What do I have to do to turn that off before I export it?
Will turning off the encryption:
before I export, solve that problem? Or will that only affect future notes created after that point?

Could you please explain this statement ? I thought I had understood that the Joplin database was never encrypted locally ? Did I misunderstand ?
