How do you create extra spaces between characters or words

I’m using Joplin to create tabs for harmonica and I’d like to create extra spacing between characters, is this possible, and how do you do it.

To give you an example:

-2 -2// -3/
I would like it look like the above but with an extra space between the -2 two spaces-2// two spaces -3/

Any help would be appreciated

You could use   eg

-2  -2//  -3/
3
