hotkey esc doesn't work as back

Joplin version: 2.8.8
Platform: Windows 11
OS specifics: 21H2

Steps to reproduce
Set up ESC key as a BACK command.
Restart the app by 'exit'. Somehow it's needed (for example ctrl+q as search in all notes start to work only afterr the app restart)
Open 'tools' - 'options' and try to leace settings by pressing ESC key.
See it' doesn't work.
Describe what you expected to happen
Esc should close the settings.

I think the back command is only related to the "browser like" back and forward functionality for note navigation.

Personally I think it makes sense that esc should close the settings page, it does work for modals and a number of other areas of the UI.
