What issue do you have?

I'm new to Joplin, coming from OneNote. I'm a heavy OneNote user and while Joplin is a decent 80% solution so far, there are some issues. I managed to migrate my notes over to Joplin, but I noticed that I cannot click hyperlinks that are highlighted by the highlighter. Once the highlighter is off, that link is clickable with ctrl+click.

For comparison, It's working for me in Joplin 3.5.6 (prod, Linux, pre-release) with both the Rich Text and Markdown editors.

Attempting to reproduce the issue locally

I'm attempting to reproduce the issue locally by:

  1. Creating a new note.
  2. Adding the text "test".
  3. Converting "test" to a link with ctrl-k.
  4. Highlighting the text with the highlighter tool.
  5. Ctrl-clicking the link.

Unsure why this didn’t work, but I did just download a lot of plugins and enable the Linkify function for the WYSIWYG editor, so that may be why it’s working now.
